THE NATL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW.WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS (Friday) EVENING TO 6 PM SATURDAY.

* TIMING.SNOW BEGINNING MAINLY ACROSS S. COOK COUNTY LATE FRIDAY EVENING & LASTING THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

* ACCUMULATION.TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 4 TO 6 INCHES BY LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

* SNOWFALL RATES.UP TO ONE HALF INCH PER HOUR.THOUGH HIGHER RATES ARE POSSIBLE FRIDAY NIGHT AFTER MIDNIGHT PRIMARILY OVER S. COOK COUNTY.

* MAIN IMPACT.REDUCED VISIBILITY IN SNOW ALONG WITH ROADS BECOMING SNOW COVERED.MAKING TRAVEL SLOW & DIFFICULT.
