Illinois' Bicentennial birthday bash on December 3 will feature stars and entertainers hailing from the Prairie State.
The gala, at the United Center in Chicago, will include performances by Styx, REO Speedwagon, Buddy Guy and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Bicentennial Office Executive Director Stuart Layne says a special treat will be a musical rendition of the Gettysburg Address.
Layne says the show features something for everyone.
