A Harvard physics professor, Jenny Hoffman,  is running from San Francisco to New York City and then up to Boston.  

Her coast to coast  race name is "Run Jenny Run". This is Jenny’s second attempt to run coast to coast. Four years ago Jenny damaged her knee and needed surgery when racing by Akron Ohio. However, Jenny is persistent and is already on track to be the fastest woman to accomplish this feat. (The puns is intended.) You may track her progress by looking for her blue trail map.  She’d love to talk to your listeners.
