Fire destroyed a business and damaged a few others in Gibson City.  Fire crews answered a call to Jay's Place in the 100-block of Sangamon Avenue Monday night.  Most of the damage was done to Jay's Place and a neighboring jewelry store.  There was also smoke and water damage to  to the Ace Hardware store and an Edward Jones outlet.  A fire department spokesman said there was extreme weather moving across the area at the time of the fire about 5:30 pm
