Watseka Police made two arrests this week following investigations. 33-year-old Ruben Irby of Watseka faces aggravated criminal sexual abuse charges and 3-counts of Predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. Irby was arrested after an investigation and booked in at the Iroquois County Jail. Officers also arrested 68-year-old Douglas Stevens in the 700-block of E. Oak (Tuesday). Stevens is charged with 2-counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. He was jailed in Watseka.

Canadian National facing child porn offense in Kankakee

Illinois State Police report the arrest of a Canadian National living in the Kankakee area for possession of alleged child pornography. 35-year-old Tyler Vandermolen had his temporary home searched where police found evidence of child porn and also suspected cocaine. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and child porn. Vandermolen was jailed in Kankakee County.
