Cullom man sentenced to life for triple murders

A Livingston County man convicted of a triple murder was sentenced (Wednesday) to life in Prison.  Clifford Brewer of Cullom was handed a life term -- without possibility of parole.  The 55-year-old was convicted of 6-counts of murder for the shooting deaths of his wife, his son and a neighbor on Christmas Day 2019.  He remains in the Livingston County Jail awaiting transfer to the DOC.

A jury convicted Brewer in August for the murders of 48-year-old Shirley Brewer, 27-year-old Christian Brewer and 51-year-old Norman Walker.  All three victims were found shot to death in a home in the 400-block of E. Jackson Street in Cullom on Christmas morning (2019).  Judge Jennifer Bauknecht handed down the sentence -- three consecutive life prison terms without parole.  Brewer also received another 25 years on each term for using a firearm.
