Sheriff's Police in Iroquois County report several individuals were arrested over the weekend after a response to yet another underage drinking party. This one, in rural Milford, was sparked buy an anonymous tip concerning a Snapchat underage party at a residence at 1420 E and 1000 N Road. Police reported several arrests for illegal consumption/possession of alcohol by minors. Patrolling deputies made several traffic stops for Illinois Vehicle Code violations. Officers reported several of the party attendees were from over 30 miles away.
Police also said there's an investigation regarding a driver leaving the scene of an accident near the residence.
The Iroquois County Sheriff's Department will continue to strictly enforce the Illinois Vehicle Code and Illinois Criminal Code to control such gatherings.
Sheriff's Polcie also reported the arrests of 20-year-old Lorenzo Arce of Hoopeston for possession of alcohol by a minor, 20-year-old Clay Dorsey of Watseka for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, and 19-year-old Lani Bronkala of Momence for obstructing justice. All have been released on bond.
In another matter -- 31-year-old Jaclyn Redmon of Piper City was arrested Saturday for domestic battery and endangering the life and health of a child. Further details were not released. Redmon was jailed pending a court appearance.
