Motorists were advised to avoid Route 45/52 at the Iroquois-Kankakee County line this (Wed) morning. A fatal crash is under investigation. Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police report one person died at the scene; another was air-lifted from the scene. Illinois State Police and other emergency vehicles are present, near Kankakee County Road 8000.
