River Valley Metro Mass Transit District has announced face coverings are no longer required.  The mask requirement is now a recommendation, but not required for those using the bus system in Kankakee County.  

Due to Monday's court ruling, the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA), effective immediately, no longer enforces riders wear a mask on buses or at any of the mass transit facilities.  A company press release states the TSA and Centers for Disease Control encourages proper use of face coverings in public transportation settings.  Anyone exhibiting symptoms of any illness is asked to continuedoing your part to protect others by wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing when possible.
