A jury trial will be scheduled in Iroquois County for a Loda man accused in a January shooting in Loda. 22-year-old Colton Johnson entered a Not Guilty plea in Court last week. He’s charged in the shooting of 19-year-old Dylan Atkins at a local residence. Atkins was hospitalized in critical condition with a wound to the head. Johnson has pleaded not guilty to Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm. The Iroquois County grand jury indicted Johnson in the case.
