The need for election judges never goes away. And respective county election officials always welcome their local citizens to get involved. Applications are accepted in county clerk offices.

The June 28 Illinois Primary Election needs individuals from both major political parties. Election Judges are paid for working at a Polling Place in addition to mileage reimbursement. Election Judges candidates are required to attend online and in-person training sessions.

Applicants must live in the county and be registered to vote in the next election. High school juniors or seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA are eligible to apply. Students may be enrolled in a public or private school, a local community college or university, or a private secondary school.
