February arrives and here comes winter weather.  Upwards of eight, ten, 12, 16 inches of snow could pile up between tonight and Thursday.  Much of Illiana is in the path of what Mother Nature is calling for, as two waves of winter weather are likely. The heavies and the most is expected south of Chicago, extending across Will, Kankakee and into northwest Indiana counties.

Motorists are advised to avoid unneccessary driving and make sure your vehicles  are equipped with winter survival kits.  Also, give those snowplows the room they need to clear the roads.
