The Watseka Family Festival volunteers and FFA groups in Cissna Park and Watseka collected items to assist tornado victims in Kentucky.  More than $3300 in gift cards, toys and monetary donations were shipped to the agencies helping tornado victims.  The help was organized to boost the spirits of children during the Christmas season.

The group collected the items donated and followwed up with a delivery to Kentucky.  FFA groups also collected donations and local truck drivers donated vehicles and time to get the items to tornado victims.  

The national organization, Toys for Tots, also shipped thousands of dollars worth of toys to the storms victims.
