Winter precipitation is heading to the state Wednesday. The weather-models show the possibility of rain, sleet and snow. Different models indicate the brunt of tyhe snowfall to the north while another model show central-Illinois getting the most snow, maybe 4-8 inches. Motorists will neeed to be aware of changing conditions. Isolated showers later today will lead to snow, freezing rain and sleet. Today's Hi near 52 then lows at 32 overnight and Thursday's Hi at 35.
There's also a wind advisory and Flood watch from 6 pm today thru Noon Thursday.
