The Bradley (IL) police Sgt. killed in the line of duty is being laid to rest today.  A funeral procession, including hundreds of police and emergency responders, are part of a procession to the Abraham Lincoln Nantional Cemetery. The procession followed a 10 am funeral service at Hawkins Centennial Chapel at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais (IL).  Visitation was held at the Chapel Thursday.  

The 49-year-old law enforcement veteran died of gunshot wounds when shot during an ambush at a hotel in Bradley (IL).  Also shot and crtically wounded was Bradley Officer Tyler Bailey.  

Two defendants are jailed without bond in Kankakee County.
