County Fair Queens & Talent Winners in Springfield this weekend

Illinois’ county fair queens compete this weekend at state for the title of MISS ILLINOIS COUNTY FAIR QUEEN.

Representing the local scene are two young women from Cissna Park and Gibson City.

Lyndsey Neukomm of Cissna Park is the 2018 Iroquois County Fair Queen. The current queen of the Ford County Fair is Kaiti Zbinden of Gibson City.

The state competition is part of the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs (IAAF) Convention in Springfield.

Talent Show winners from the county fairs also compete this weekend.

The Iroquois County Junior Division representative will be the Dance 'N Beats.... a Jazz dance team performing to "Better When I'm Dancin'." Team members are: Lily Anderson from Beaverville, Madelyn Loy from Donovan, Rae Stucki from Martinton, London Clark from Milford, Madison McTaggart from Gilman and Annika Greene, Addie Kingdon, Karsyn Legan and Sarah Parsons from Watseka.

Iroquois County’s Sr. Division winner from the local Fair is Alexis Krones from Watseka. She dances a Contemporary piece "Body Love." Also representing Iroquois County is Ellaina Hibbert from Clifton. She won an open class talent show at the Georgetown Fair. Her contemporary dance is titled "This Is Our Time."
