A Hoopeston man was involved in a single-vehicle accident New Year's Day in Iroquois County.  23-year-old Waylone Henning was takne by ambulance to Carle-Hoopeston. Iroquois County Sheriff's Police report Henning ran his truck into a field after running through a "T" intersection at County Road 3200 E and Indiana Road 600S.  The truck went airborne and landed in a field. Henning was extricated from the wreckage by Wellington-Greer Fire psrsonnel. Sheriff's Police cited Henning for failure to reduce speed and driving while suspended.

Milford Police arrested two people over the holiday weekend. 33-year-old Christopher Hollis was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant for possession of Meth.  58-year-old Perry Carswell of Hoopeston was arrested for driving while suspended and resisting an officer.

Iroquois County deputies arrested 33-year-old Monee Marshall of Sheldon.  She was charged with domestic battery, interferring with a report of domestic violence and resisting an officer.
