In the spirit of the holidays….Iroquois County’s FOOD from the HEART is setting up for the annual food give-away on December 9.  Volunteer help is also appreciated and donations are most welcome to accommodate those people in need.

"Contributions can be sent to 301 S. 4th Street in Watseka 60970.  Food from the Heart welcomes any and all donations," according to local resident Mary Williams. Donations are tax-deductable.

The food give-away is scheduled for Saturday, December 9, behind the Watseka First Methodist Church. It’s a pretty convenient set-up …..  Food baskets are distributed thru cooperation with the popular TOYS for TOTS program. Toys box drop-offs are at several business locations in the County and at IMH facilities.
