Beecher Baseball Coach accused of sexually assaulting teen

An assistant baseball coach in suburban Beecher is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl. Authorities say Micheal Takacs made inappropriate contact with the victim on two occasions before sexually assaulting her on April 1st. He made statements incriminating himself while being questioned by detectives before his arrest on July 11th. Takacs is an assistant baseball coach at Beecher Junior High School and Beecher High School.

The 24-year-old was jailed on a $500,000 bond charged with three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, four counts of criminnal sexual assault and two counts of battery. Takacs allegedly assaulted the girl on two occasions while living with the family of the victim.
