"Singing for the Stars" fundraiser gears for April event

          LOOKS WHO’S SINGING!

Iroquois Sexual Assault Services (ISAS) announces the celebrity cast for the agency’s upcoming ‘Singing for the Stars’ fundraiser.

The event will take place on Saturday April 14th at 7 pm at the Watseka Theatre. Doors will open at 6 pm.

There are 5 duets competing in this year’s singing contest:
-Professional vocal instructor Calley Kaeb will sing with Watseka High School Football Coach Aaron Hilgendorf.
-Local singer Earl Kroll of Watseka will perform with Joelle Nelson, Victim’s Advocate at Harbor House.
-Professional singer Janice Erickson will lead Alex O’brien, Iroquois County Assistant States Attorney.
-Professional blues singer Little Daddy! from Kankakee, will accompany Mary Meents of Watseka
-Entertainer Brian Nuekumn of Cissna Park will compete with Amiee Chandler of Onarga.

Celebrity judge’s panel consists of: Ryan Bell, Liz Martin, and Jeff Sobkoviac.

Tim Waters and Lisa Graham will be returning as co-emcees.

Tickets for the show are $20 each. Ticket info is available at the ISAS office at 1801 N. State Route 1 (Jefferson Plaza).

Ticket sales are also available at Travel Discoveries II, and Illiana Backyard Fun in Watseka. Tickets can be purchased online at KC-CASA.org Seating will be limited.

ISAS is a not for profit rape crises center, providing hope and healing to victims of sexual assault. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to support victims of sexual violence in Iroquois County.
