A Paxton man, 52-yr-old Thomas Perry, is facing a Class X felony charge of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. The charge alleges that in November 2015, Perry sexually assaulted a girl who was under age 13.

Iroquois County State’s Attorney ‘s Office charged Perry with the Class X felony, a single-count of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child.

Later, the Iroquois County grand jury returned an indictment against Perry.

Perry was arrested on a warrant in Ford County. He’s been released after posting the required 10% of a $100,000 bond. A July 10 court date is set in Iroquois County Circuit Court.
