A series of burglaries in the Gilman, Danforth and Crescent City areas has led to the arrests of two Gilman men. Bond was set for both suspects Monday in Iroquois Circuit Court following their arrests Friday.

34-year-old Michael Causey is jailed on a $120,000 bond. Bond for 34-year-old David Blair Jr. was set at $50,000.

Both were arrested after Gilman Police and Iroquois County Sheriff's Police served search warrants at two locations on North Main Street in Gilman. Officers recovered hand and power tools, a chain saw, jewelry and antique coins among other stolen items.

The suspects are linked to at least seven burglaries., thefts, and residential burglaries over the past few months.

Police also seized heroin, cannabis and other drug paraphernalia.
