Weather postponed some area trick-or-treat plans Thursday.  The communities cancelling have rescheduled their events today and some Saturday. Watseka youngsters will go door-to-door from 4-7 pm, Hoopeston has set its hours for 5 - 7:30 pm.  Ashkum, Clifton, Onarga, Papineau, Woodland and St. Anne hoursa are today from 5 - 7 pm. 

7 Year Old Girl Shot Trick Or Treating In Chicago

A seven-year-old girl is fighting for her life after she was shot while trick-or-treating in a bumblebee costume in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. Police say the girl was walking with other trick-or-treaters last night when someone nearby began shooting at other people. The child was hit by a stray bullet and taken to the hospital in critical condition, while a man who also suffered a gunshot wound is in stable condition. Investigators are looking for the shooter.
