A 15-year-old St. Anne youth will be tried as an adult for the shooting death of a Pembroke Township man. Jayson Caldwell was indicted by a Kankakee County grand jury for the death in July of Thad Wells.

Prosecutors claim Wells was killed when shots were fired through the door of Wells' trailer home.

Caldwell faces charges of 1st-degree murder, armed violence, residential burglary, attempted residential burglary, and possession of a stolen firearm.
