No one was injured when a car hit a Kankakee school Monday morning. Police report the bus was stopped at the railroad tracks on East Station Street. Kankakee Police reported only one student was on the bus when the crash happened at around 7:40 am.

The accident marked the fourth such incident, involving a school bus since the school year started.

School buses in Gilman (Iroquois West school district), Herscher (school district #2) and Paxton (PBL school district #10) have also been involved in crashes this month.
