Newton County, IN is up to eight deaths as a result of COVID-19. The Indiana State Department of Health reported Saturday that 676 new cases of COVID-19 were reported since Friday. Newton County reported two additional deaths and Howard County reported four additional deaths. White County also spiked with an increase of 25 cases. Jasper County has 36 cases with one death reported. Benton County reports eight cases while Tippecanoe County has 156 cases and two deaths.

The state of Indiana reported 17 more coronavirus deaths Sunday. The state’s death total is now 1,132 Hoosiers.
