Police agencies have launched their Memorial Day ‘Click It or Ticket’ campaigns. Police will be stepping up seat belt enforcement now thru Memorial Day. All motorists are encouraged to buckle up for every trip. Nighttime enforcement is a special focus for officers with the “Click It or Ticket” campaign, as seat belt use typically diminishes in the evening and overnight hours.

The ‘Click It Or Ticket’ campaign is administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation with federal highway safety funds.
