Contested aldermanic or trustee races appear on next Tuesday’s ballots in eight cities/villages in Iroquois County.
The Consolidated Election is April 9th. Early Voting is underway. Contact your County Clerk’s Office for any needed information.
In the Village of Woodland, no less than seven candidates are on the ballot for three available trustee seats.
Five candidates are after three trustee seats in the Village of Clifton.
In Buckley, four announced-candidates seek three seats for a 4-year term. There’s also three Buckley hopefuls after two available seats for a 2-year term.
Ashkum and Loda has three trustee seats available with four names on the ballots on each town.
Aldermanic races are contested in Gilman and Watseka. Wards 1, 2 and 3 have challengers chasing the incumbents IN Gilman. Watseka’s Ward 1 finds a 2-person race.
