WATSEKA -- Riverside Medical Center Specialty Services in Watseka now carries a new name. It will now be called the Harold and Jean Miner Outpatient Center.
The name comes from after a generous contribution from the Miner Charitable Foundation. A recognition plaque was recently unveiled during an open house celebration.
The late Harold and Jean Miner were lifelong resident farmers in Iroquois County. The couple supported many community initiatives, giving of their time, talent and treasure. They established the Miner Charitable Foundation to continue their philanthropic interests long into the future.
Riverside’s naming of the facility in their honor not only recognizes the significant financial support of the Miner Foundation, but also recognizes the Miners as an example of those who make a community like Watseka a great one.
