Chebanse man sentenced to 8 years for burglary

Larry Collins of Chebanse has been sentenced to eight-years in prison for a Class 2 felony charge of burglary. Judge Kathy Bradshaw-Elliott imposed the sentence after Collins pleaded guilty in Kankakee Circuit Court.

A Kankakee man was sentenced to three-years in prison. Steven Evans entered a guilty plea to burglary. He was sentenced by Judge Clark Erickson.

Judge Erickson also ordered Timothy Lane of Kankakee to eight-years in prison. Lane pleaded guilty to Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. He was also ordered to pay a $3,000 fine and court fees.

A Class 4 felony conviction for Possession of Cannabis sends a Kankakee man to prison for three-years. Jonathan Rowe entered a guilty plea before Judge Erickson.

A Unlawful Delivery of Cocaine conviction also sends Demetrius Wells to prison for seven-years. Wells pleaded guilty to the Class X felony (last week) in Kankakee Circuit Court. Judge Erickson also ordered a $3,000 drug assessment fine.

A Three Rivers, Michigan man has been sentenced to four-years in prison for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Taries (Tuh-Reese) King had a previous conviction for the Class 2 felony. Judge Kathy Bradshaw-Elliott sentenced King after he plead guilty in Kankakee Circuit Court.
