Benton County, In officials report one person is dead after an early morning house fire today (Wednesday).  The victim is identified as 35-year-old Michael Redman.  An autopsy is planned for Friday.

Several fire departments responded to a house engulfed in flames about 1 am Wednesday in the 300 block of North Clinton Street in Boswell.  Indiana State Police, the Indiana State Fire Marshal and the Benton County Coroner were at the scene.  Sheriff John Cox said the fire had been extinguished by 4:30 am. 

Clinton Street remained closed and drivers were being asked to avoid the area.
