A south suburban man apparently took his own life Tuesday shooting himself at the Kankakee Police Department parking lot.  The unidentified man drove into the parking lot on North Indiana Avenue and then shot himself in the head, according to Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner.

An autopsy is scheduled today.
