The National Weather Service issued a weather update about dangerous heat/humidity conditions for Wednesday and Thursday.
Heat advisories have been in place, but conditions are expected to intensify the next two days. Wednesday and Thursday temperature reading are likely to hit the 100 degree mark while the heat index numbers reach 110 to 115.
Cooling Centers are in place in several communities and school districts are limiting activities and events. Many sporting events have been canceled.
