St. Anne football returns after 46 years

Building a winning culture is the goal for high school football at St. Anne. The sport is back after a 46-year absence, and the excitement in the community is off the chart.

The high school Cardinals 8-man football squad welcomes Bushnell-Prairie City Saturday afternoon.  {The game kicks off the Illinois prep season and airs on 96.9 - AM 1360 WIBK}

St. Anne Athletic Director Ben O’Brien said the welcome mat is out, everyone in the community and then-some are welcome. Head Coach Alan Rood says building a positive experience will rally the community. The Russell Cotton Sports Complex is in place, finishing touches on a brand new facility.

Cardinal-Nation begins a new experience; and membership is wide open. Coach Rood and A.D. O'Brien  extend a welcome to join the experience.
