A 23-year-old Iroquois County man died in a rural weekend shooting in Kankakee County. Michael Godinez of Clifton died of injuries after he was reportedly shot at a house party in un-incorporated Bourbonnais. No arrest has been made. Police are investigating. 

Authorities responded to the 1100-block of Coyote Run, in the rural area, around 4:30 am Saturday. County Sheriff’s Police initially reported the shooting happened when a fight broke out at a party. Godinez died at an area hospital.
