A lot of folks were busy getting the yard and garden work underway over the weekend. It's that time of the year. But a U of I horticulture expert says don't be in too big of a hurry. Chris Enroth says it's good to clean up the garden and cutting back of ornamental grasses, but the warm weather plants need to wait until all danger of frost has passed and soil temps warm up. He says nighttime temps need to consistently be out of the 40-degree range.
