An Iroquois County jury Thursday convicted a Chebanse man for residential Burlgary and Criminal trespass to property.  19-year-old Dillon Palenik faces 4-15 years in prison when he’s sentenced in August.

The jury took just an hour and 15 minutes to return its verdict in the 2-day trial in Watseka.  Judge Gordon Lustfeldt heard the case.

Palenik, according to testimony, was caught trying to steal a TV from the home of Daniel and Shannon Booi on March 28, 2011.
