A fourth generation farmer from Livingston County will direct the farm bureau operations for Kankakee County. Korbin Collins, a 2021 graduate from the University of Illinois and a Flanagan-Cornell High School grad, was named to the Kankakee County post. She succeeds Chad Miller, who is now a Regional Manager for the Illinois Farm Bureau.
Collins was active in FFA and 4-H during her prep years at Flanagan-Cornell. She was president of her high school FFA chapter as a senior. She then earned an associate degree from Joliet Junior-College before graduating from the U of I with an Ag Leadership Education degree. She was also a Communication major. Prior to her start in the Kankakee County Farm Bureau, Collins served a dual role as farm bureau manager for both Perry and Washington counties.
