Four new members were seated on the C-I #249 school board last Thursday evening.  All four were winners in the April 2 election. 

The school board also has the immediate task of finding a new superintendent.  Jeffrey Alstadt resigned.  He's accepted a new position as superintendent in Burlington, Wisconsin. 

New board members seated include:  Tim Kollmann, Brock Johnson, Cando Butzow and Christi Pheifer.  They join current members Becky Dirks, Steve Massey and Joby Neibuhr.

At Fairbury:  Prairie Central Board re-organizes --

Three new members of the Prairie Central Board of Education were winners April 2nd.  However, one of the election officers, Brad Brown, has resigned.  The school board will begin the process of finding a replacement for a 2-year term.

Brown, Dana Kafer and Lori Schahrer were winners in the election.  Mark Slagel will again serve as board president.
