The resurfacing of Illinois Route 50 from Bourbonnais to Manteno is yet another 2015 road project underway.

Motorists will have to deal with the congestion and maybe seek alternate routes for the next two months.

The Illinois Department of Transportation will resurface Route 50 from St. George Road in Bourbonnais to Sixth Street in Manteno.

Kankakee Valley Construction Company will complete the four-mile project, which will cost more than $1.8 million.
IDOT advises motorists to travel with caution through the work zone.
