A 55-year-old Paxton man faces charges after he allegedly stabbed a bartender at a Paxton bar. Tracy Joyce had bond set Thursday at $50,000. He's been arrested for aggravated battery, aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, and possession of drugs.

The stabbing took place around 10 pm Wednesday at Shooky's Bar on Market Street. It's the second stabbing incident there in the last 18 months.

Joyce was jailed in Paxton. The bartender was treated at Carle Hospital in Urbana.

Paxton Police and the Ford County Sheriff's department continue the investigation.
