Home invasion in Watseka leads to arrests

Two Gilman residents are under arrest for a reported home invasion last weekend in Watseka.  30-year-old James Martinez and 30-year-old Jasmine Casas were jailed in Iroquois County.  Gilman Police arrested both suspects Saturday after Watseka Police responded to the home invasion in the 100-block of N. Market Street.  Police reported a woman at the residence caled from the emergenct room at IMH claiming she was struck in the head with a pipe. A short investigation led polcie to the two suspects.

A Cissna Park man is under arrest for two outstanding warrants.  33-year-old Kyle Blackburn was arrested by sherriff's police on charges of theft and failure to appear for a theft charge.

32-year-old Kevin Lambert turned himself in at the Iroquois County Jail.  He'll begina 10-day sentence for failure to register as a sex offender.
