The Illinois Department of Public Health is continuing to work to increase measles vaccination rates. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reported that there are 704 cases of measles that have been identified in 22 different states around the U.S. in 2019, and there have been seven measles cases identified in Illinois.
