Riverside Healthcare is raising awareness to bring education about the Organ and Tissue Donation Network. Riverside plans to honor every donation that occurs at the hospital by lighting the outside facade of the building green and purple in commemoration of the gift made by the donor.

Additionally, a Gift of Hope flag will be flown outside the medical center before being given to the family of the donor. The Gift of Hope coordinates organ and tissue donations.
