A Vermilion County grand jury indicted 27-year-old Edward Woodfork on three counts of first-degree murder for the May 13, 2012, death of 26-year-old Larry Carter of Danville.
Danville police found Woodfork in Danville around 9:55 p.m. Thursday and arrested him without incident, according to police.
Danville police found Carter lying in the front yard of a residence in the 500 block of Robinson Street after receiving a call of shots fired in that area.
A witness led police to Woodfork, who was seen in the area of the shooting.
