An Indiana State Police traffic stop led to a police dog sniffing out over 12-hundred pounds of pot inside a vehicle Tuesday morning. 31-year-old Christopher Colburn of McKinleyville, CA was arrested without incident. He's charged with dealing marijuana and possession of marijuana. The trooper is a member of the Indiana State Police All Crimes Policing Team. The van was stopped on I-65 at Lowell. Police report the trooper felt someting wasn't right so the dog was brought in and sniffed out 38 large boxes of pot and six garbage bags. The 12-hundrfed pounds of green plant substance had a street value between $5 and $8-million dollars, according to State Police. Police said Colburn also had a prior conviction for marijuana possession.
