Iroquois County recorded its ninth positive case of coronavirus over the weekend.  The County Public Health Department reported a female in her 40's tested positive.  Grundy County now has 14 cases.  Kankakee County jumped to 213 cases with 18 weekend updates, five on Saturday and 13 more Sunday.

The state of Illinois saw its first downward trend in death tolls since the pandemic began.  There were 43 more deaths announced Sunday, a count lower than each of the past six days.  Illinois has 20, 852 confirmed cases.

Nearly 8,000 cases of cornavirus are now recorded in Indiana with 343 deaths.  Newton County had a 17 case increase from Saturday numbers, from nine to 26.  There is one death in Newton County.  Jasper County Public Health reports 17 cases with one death.
