The City of Watseka is among the latest government agencies to close its administration building due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Effective immediately today (Thursday), City Hall is off limits for public access – until further notice.

Kankakee City business closed its Municipal Building, effective today (Thursday).

The Village of Bourbonnais also closed its Administrative Building.

Newton County, In government operations were closed, effective Wednesday.

The Veterans Administration Commission (VAC) in Iroquois County is closed to public access. The County Administration Center will be closed, effective Monday 3/23). VAC Director Jennifer Ingram said her office will continue to conduct business via telephone and email. Ingram will be in the office from 8 am ‘til 4 pm Monday through Friday.
