Flood assessment help continues in Watseka

Volunteer teams with World Renew, Disaster Response Services, continues this week in the city of Watseka.  Canvassing of neighborhoods with a house-to-house approach finds teams documenting needs of flood victims from the June and July flooding of 2015.  The effort is to find any unmet needs of local residents.

The World Renew group has also set up a walk-in center at the First United Methodist Church in Watseka.  Monday's hours are from 9 am until 7 pm.  Tuesday hours are 9 am 'til 4 pm.  It's the same Wednesday and Thursday.  World Renew plans to close down its operations November 6th.

A Flood Referral Center also continues at the Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce office.
