Indiana Basketball Coaches Association’s Boys Basketball Academic All State Teams: South Newton’s Matthew Armstrong received 1st Team honors. He is the first South Newton boy athlete to receive this honor in over 10 years. Teammates Dominic Scott and Matthew Taylor were selected for the Honorable Mention team. Ryan Johnson, Jared Kutsch, Hayden LaCosse, and Aaron Turner of North Newton along with Andrew Plassard and Bennett Senesac of Benton Central also made the Honorable Mention team.
